Court verdict on Babri Masjid Demolition

Central Bureau of investigation Court has given a verdict on the Babri Masjid demolition case. The court said that the demolition of Babri masjid is not pre-planned and all the accused have been acquitted.

Court verdict on Babri Masjid Demolition

On 30th September the court gave the verdict on the Babri Masjid Demolition case. The court has acquitted KL Advani who is the BJP Bharatiya Janata Party leader. He was accused of the demolition of Babri Masjid in the year 1992.

SK Yadav who is the CBI Judge declared that there was no conspiracy involved in the demolition of Babri Masjid. The judge gave 2000 page judgment regarding the case.

The other BJP leaders which were accused were Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, Kalyan Singh who is the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Vinay Katiyar, Sadhvi Rithambara. Advani said that he Wholeheartedly accepts the judgment given by the court.

Joshi said that 30th September is a historic day as it was declared that there was no pre-planned demolition plan and no conspiracy regarding the incident which took place on 6th December 1992. He even said that the Ram Mandir’s Construction is what everyone must be excited about.

The court has ordered all the accused persons to be present in the court on 16th September, few of them could not attend because of COVID 19 and they attended through video conference.

In the year 1996, the demolition of Babri Masjid took place. It was demolished by Kar Sevaks claiming that the Masjid was built on the place where Ram temple was.

In this matter, the Special CBI court has been appointed for giving the verdict. The supreme court has ordered the CBI court to deliver the verdict by 31st august but it was further extended.

During the trial, there were charges on 48 people out of the 48 people 17 have died. There were a total of 351 witnesses being produced in the court and 600 documents have been shown as evidence.

The people were charged for deliberate and malicious acts and for promoting enmity between groups. It was declared that the people who were accused were not involved as there is no evidence which claims their involvement, said that court.

The judgment was given in November 2019 to construct Ram Mandir and demolition of Mosque will take place. There will be a 5-acre site given for construction of Mosque.
