The Coronavirus vaccine developed by Russia will hold the 3rd phase trial for its vaccine in Saudi Arabia. The vaccine developed by Russia has shown good results when the phase 1 trial began.

Coronavirus vaccine made by Russia will hold it’s trial in Saudi Arabia.

Russia has developed a Coronavirus vaccine. The human trial for the vaccine began One month back. The results were good which made the phase 2 process begin soon.

The first trial was of 38 people and it ended this week and now the 2^nd trial for the vaccine will begin soon which will involve 100 people.

It is said that Saudi Arabia will be a part of the 3^rd phase trial which will begin in the month of August. The CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund named Kirill Dmitriev said that Saudi Arabia will hold the 3rd phase trial in August.

He even said that the drug named Avifavir has been bought by Saudi Arabia from Russia and they have discussed it with Saudi Arabia about the vaccine.

Saudi Arabia bought these drug kits from Russia which are proved as effective for treating influenza and they are proved to be effective in the first phase trial. He said that Saudi Arabia has a good response towards the vaccine prepared by Russia. The production of drugs in Saudi Arabia is yet to be discussed.

The vaccine will be used in Russia from the month of August after approval. If it is approved then this vaccine developed by Russia will be the first vaccine of Coronavirus in the World. The Gamaleya Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology in Moscow has developed this vaccine. They have collaborated with the Russian Ministry of Defense.

A total of 30 Million doses will be produced domestically and 170 Million doses will be produced for the rest of the world including the Middle East and America. Dmitriev said that this partnership between Saudi and Russia will be a good interaction between nations.

There are Many Institutes where the vaccines are being produced all over the world. Out of this only 11 have started the human trials and Russia is one among them to start the human trial.
