Ryanair CEO sparks outrage after saying generally Muslims are terrorists, making a provocative remark that terrorists “will generally be males of a Muslim persuasion” is now facing criticism.

As per the interview taken by Times, Michael O’Leary said that Airport security should be less rigid “the chances [they] are going to blow them all up is zero”, as per Times.

The Muslim Council of Britain(MCB) condemned the chief executive’s comment. MCB said that these comments are openly Racist and said that he openly supports discrimination against the males of Muslim persuasion which is Islamophobia. After O’Leary’s comment on Muslim men Labour party lawmaker said that the CEO is encouraging Racism.

As per Ryanair, there are no such comments passed by O’Leary that Muslim men should be faced with more security checks, as rumors stated that Muslim men who are traveling alone are more probable to carry acts of terror.

Michael demanded that effective security checks will put an end to unnecessary queues at the airport- said by Ryanair’s spokesperson. There was no statement regarding the extra checks on Muslim men said Ryanair.

Later Michael apologized for his comments and for any offense caused to any group. A similar case was recently observed where Delta airlines were fined $50,000 for discrimination against Muslim Passengers.
O’Leary even made may derogatory comments regarding the wheelchair facilities at every floor of Dublin as “utter nonsense”.

He even passed comments on transgenders and the necessity for gender-neutral bathrooms. O’Leary was previously passed comments on airport security stating that most airport security is utterly useless.
